I was a grouchy butt on Wednesday morning for a variety of reasons. The biggest one being that I needed a serious attitude adjustment. Cold water, forgot swim cap and goggles, drills I suck at, no light to see the workout board from the pool, clock broken, and really tired from only 5 hours of sleep the night before. Waaaaaahhhhh!!!! I'm over it now, thank goodness. On to better things.
Upon sinking once again while doing the bow and arrow drill, coach told me my kicking sucks. She said it nicer because she is polite, but let's be honest. It sucks. I kick from my knees which makes lots of splashing but gets me nowhere. I am supposed to kick from the butt instead. One more thing to learn and practice. Further humbling of the ego. IM is hard for perfectionists. But at least I will develop a nice a$&!!
